Wedding favors are something that is taken along with the guests to remind them of the time they have spent at your wedding. They are as important as any other part that you have spent your time and money on. With that said, do you really want to make them “cheap”? No. But they should not be too expensive.

You can impress everyone at the wedding by diamonds. I am sure they will remember you and your wedding forever. However, that’s not a feasible plan. It’s just too much on the money side.

If money is something that you cannot spend without think twice, and then you need to find a way to come up with cheap wedding favors that may have the same or even better results. Here are some tips to get you started.

The first tip that I can give you is that you should add your handmade touch to the favors. You don’t have to create the whole thing out of nothing. The candies or candles can be bought inexpensively and practically everywhere. Then you need to buy the favor boxes or packs and the ribbon to bind the package. You handwork comes in the form of message cards on which you write some kind words for each particular person to show your appreciation for their presence.

This message can be really touching especially when it is dabbed with an anecdote or something personal between you and the receiver.

Depending on the size of your guest list, this could take you hours to days.

Another tip that could come in quite handy is you can make some candies by yourself. Put them into the packages with a recipe. You are not only serving them what to eat, but also educating them how to make the serving. How special is that!

The ideas can go on and on. Once your creative mind is opened, which is what the above mentioned tips were intended to do, your imagination is the only limit.
